WP Elevation Episode #14 – Cory Miller – Great interview by Troy Dean with Cory Miller of iThemes and BackupBuddy fame. If your business involves the internet, websites, plugins, WordPress, etc., then this is a highly recommended interview to listen to or watch. BackupBuddy is the single most important plugin on any website I build, and hearing the history behind it was enlightening!

StatusCake – Earlier this week I was looking for a possible alternative to Pingdom and came across StatusCake. While Pingdom only allows you to monitor one website for free before moving to a paid plan, StatusCake has an unlimited free plan, and their paid plans are more affordable than Pingdom. Beyond the pricing differences, they claim to have significant advantages over Pingdom.
I agree that Pingdom plan is not good at all as you pay only for one computer. That is why I looked for its alternatives as well. I decided to use Anturis. At the moment I am satisfied with what I have about the website and network monitoring with Anturis.
